Cable Cars, Alcatraz, and Baseball Games

Wednesday and Thursday were busy again for our Austrian study abroad students. They rode Cable Cars, walked down Lombard St, enjoyed lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, and took the ferry to Alcatraz. The students enjoyed seeing this historical site and listening to the audio tour. Thursday the students enjoyed the lovely weather with a baseball game. Read More

Chaperone Marya describes a busy Thursday bus tour of San Francisco with half of our visiting Austrian study abroad students. They saw the 49′ers and Giants’ stadiums, took photos by the Pacific Ocean, ate lunch in the Haight/Ashbury neighborhood, and visited the Golden Gate Bridge. The Austrian group will be living with volunteer host families, improving their English abilities, and seeing what American life is like first-hand.
