Kelli shares an update from Nerja, where the Salamanca 2 group has just arrived. Since their True Immersion Week in Santander they have been busy traveling in Southern Spain. Two great weeks in Salamanca!

The Salamanca 2 group has completed their two weeks of language classes, and will soon travel on to meet their immersion host family. Students also completed a cooking class to learn how to prepare traditional dishes. They also enjoyed a scavenger hunt in Salmanaca’s famouse Plaza Mayor, in their best “running of the bulls” costumes! Read More

Bull “Fighting” in Salamanca

Salamanca 2 chaperone, Kelli, shares an update from Spain about a visit to Plaza de Torros to learn about the Spanish tradition of bull fighting. The students had an opportunity to ask a true matador questions about his experience. He had some great stories! After watching a demonstration, the students got to practice of a special practice bull. No animals were harmed! Read More
