It was an absolute pleasure getting to know all the Austrian students. The students of Klasse 6A & 6B spent their first weekend in California with their host families in many different ways. Some families traveled east of Danville to the High Sierras for a weekend of skiing and fun in the snow. Lake Tahoe is about a 4 hour drive from Danville and boasts some of the best skiing in America. Read More

Stephanie shares more stories from from Klasse 6C’s tour of San Francisco. The students rode Cable Cars, saw the crooked streets, Ghiradelli Square, Pier 39, and the famous sea lions. Exploring San Francisco!

Your students arrived safely to a great welcome from their host families! They were greeted in Danville with signs and balloons welcoming them to California! Most students were very tired after the long flight and were reminded to get a good night’s sleep in order to begin the program the next day. Read More

Days 2 & 3 – Exploring San Francisco

Klasse 6C has had a busy past few days. They’ve explored Chinatown, the Cable Car Museum, and the Union Square shopping district. They toured more of the city on a private bus tour that took them to Golden Gate Park, the Haight Ashbury neighborhood, and the panoramic views of the city from Twin Peaks. They even got their feet wet in the Pacific Ocean! Read More
