ECI is gearing up to begin our search for dynamic host family coordinators, group leaders, and chaperones. As an organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area, we generally limit our search to those who live locally, enabling us to provide continuous hands-on training and support.
Host Family Coordinators begin work in mid-January to secure families for our inbound students who arrive during the summer months. Ideal candidates are organized, educated, open-minded, spirited, and enjoy both talking with and meeting new people. Direct experience as a former host family is an added bonus!
We also hire educational professionals to travel as chaperones for our teens to France, Spain, and Costa Rica. These individuals generally teach high school French or Spanish during the school year, and accompany our students on their outbound adventures for periods of three to four weeks during the summer. Additionally, we hire Local group leaders to oversee and lead the European groups of students who come to the Bay Area during the summer.
The interview process for Host Family Coordinators begins in January 2012 for the summer season. Group Leaders and chaperones will be hired after January 2012. The ECI team works collaboratively with dedicated individuals who share our commitment to expanding horizons through language and cultural immersion.
