Where are the ECI program immersion towns?
Our locations are carefully chosen. They are not typical tourist destinations for US travelers, giving you a better chance of hearing only Spanish or French spoken. They are chosen because they are safe and family-oriented.
Our Host Family Coordinators live in these towns and do a great job of matching you with a caring and friendly family. Spending your summer in Gap (France) or Estepona (Spain) is a fantastic opportunity for you to get to know a French or Spanish community, to learn about their cultures, and to greatly improve your foreign language skills.
France: Gap
Students love the gorgeous, idyllic Alpine location of Gap and the incredibly warm and friendly host families they are matched with.
Significantly improve your French by living with a French volunteer family for up to four weeks, or even longer.
With no French classes or group activities you will be the only student in your family—total immersion in French family life and culture!

Spain: Estepona
Our students really enjoy spending up to four weeks, and often longer in this beautiful seaside town in southern Spain.
You will benefit greatly from the opportunity to become fully immersed in Spanish family life.
